THE MECCA!
The Mecca was the ideal place to be for weddings, socials, civic meetings, anything fancy in Lynchburg! Conventions, church groups used it for formal affairs that would be the talk of the town!

The Mecca! A classy venue back in the day! Notice the large dance floor suitable for all occasions. I spotted a Seeburg "trash can" Jukebox music system (just to the right of the stage), which probably filled the room with all of the music from the decade!
Beautiful table settings available for your social event!

This shows the resturant/soda fountain, ice cream parlor, area of the Mecca! You know I'm a jukebox nut, and believe that this is a Wurlitzer, popular during the time!
Guessing, maybe a Lodge, dinner/meeting?
Maybe a Prom or a wedding?
Maybe a civic club meeting?
A birthday party...see anybody you know? Help me out here?
